Biography
- He was a child prodigy – he wrote the ballet Der Schneemann (“The Snowman”) when he was just 11 years old!
- Was one of the very first film composers and helped pioneer the genre, paving the way for composers like John Williams!
- In 1936, his boss won an academy award for music in the film Anthony Adverse, even though Korngold was the one who actually wrote the music!
