Biography
- When Williams won his Oscar for Jaws at the 1976 Academy Awards, he did not have to walk far because he was conducting the orchestra for the award ceremony!
- Williams was drafted in 1952 and arranged, played, and conducted for military bands, including the U.S. Air Force Band.
- Williams met Steven Spielberg, a famous movie director, on a blind lunch date in 1972. Since then, they have collaborated on many films.
