Biography
- Growing up in Denmark as the 7th of 12 children, Nielsen made his first music playing on wooden logs in his backyard!
- He was a performer in a military band before joining the Royal Danish Orchestra as a violinist.
- His was once featured on the Danish 100-kroner bill to celebrate his legacy as Denmark’s most famous composer.
