Biography
- Mazzoli began composing at the age of 10 and became the first of two women to have work commissioned by the Metropolitan Opera.
- She’s founded an all-female indie rock band called Victoire, that performs “new music for old instruments.”
- She loves connecting music from different genres and eras, like punk rock music from the 1990s and baroque music from the 1600s.
