Biography

  • Tchaikovsky was one of the first Russian composers who made a lasting impression internationally.
  • He was only 4 years old when he began to compose.
  • Tchaikovsky was invited to the opening of Carnegie Hall in New York City. He conducted the New York Symphony Orchestra (at the time) for the opening ceremony.
